Abstract

This study focuses on the coronavirus symptoms and precautions, among law enforcement and police departments regarding the awareness and knowledge prevalent among them. COVID-19 is highly contagious and infects the upper respiratory tract. Corona virus belongs to the family of Severe Acute respiratory syndrome/Middle east respiratory syndrome. The first people with coronavirus are linked to animals such as bat, Snake and seafood market. The Corona virus Outbreak was first noted in China. The initial symptoms of this includes fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat and loss of taste/ smell. Law and police department are more prone to Corona virus infection. Law and police department educate and enforce the society regarding social distancing and importance of quarantine period. Present research analyses 100 subjects [40 Male,60 Female]. 15 questionnaires were framed and circulated through Google forms via Online WhatsApp link. Responses were collected and transferred to SPSS Software and statistically analysed. Results were calculated in percentage and made into bar graphs. Observed results state that the participants were highly aware of the coronavirus symptoms and precautions.
