This study aims to enrich the research literature, and this study explores the relationship between personality and intention to study at the university of Vietnamese students. This study was conducted through a cross-sectional survey using a targeted sampling technique of 400 high school students taking the exit exam. The SEM model is used to test the hypotheses, and the results show that: students have five personality types and all have a positive and significant impact on the intention to study abroad. In which personality neuroticism and extraversion act with large regression weights.
