Electoral laws are of great importance in the success of the representative process and the achievement of the optimal parliamentary system in each country. The electoral laws are part of an integrated system whose purpose is to maintain the continuity of the electoral process in an orderly manner and in accordance with democratic and modern foundations. After 2003, Iraq witnessed a political and legal transformation. And through the intervention of the military, which resulted in anarchy in the process of establishing a new Iraq, this chaos cast the shadow of the overall political and legislative process in Iraq, the occupation of Iraq by foreign forces coincided with the birth of a new political system built within the framework of After the year 2003, Iraq went through the process of electing the National Assembly. After 2006, Iraq ran the elections of the First Chamber of Deputies. The second electoral process took place in 2010 and the third in 2014, and then the fourth parliament was elected in 2018.
