She has been praised for expressing real human ideals. Though she is no longer with us, she has left her mark by courageously questioning the threadbare norms of Indian Hindu society. She has utilised a straightforward storytelling approach with minimal embellishment.Her Assamese books have been serialized in the past. Her books aren't only reminiscences of the past.
