MEASURE THE DIVERSITY OF NEWS IN PRIME-TIME NEWS-BULLETINS OF HINDI NEWS CHANNELS

Abstract

This research paper is about the content analysis of prime time news bulletins of four national Hindi language television news channels. The study is only focus on quantitative analysis of news bulletins. This research is the comparative study of broadcast of news between Hindi news channels. All the news channels gave more importance to political news. The news stories related to the education and health get least coverage on all the news channels. In this study, researcher use DU screen recorder to record the news bulletins for analyse. The recorded forms of these programs are necessary because broadcast time of news bulletins on all the channels is same.
