A DRAMATIC DIAGNOSTIC REPRESENTATION OF OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER IN THE UNLIKELY HERO OF ROOM 13B
Abstract
The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B offers a diagnostic study of Obsessive Compulsive
Disorder ( OCD). Adam, the protagonist, suffers from OCD. The novel illuminates the
reader to discern all the information about OCD but in a dramatic way. The Unlikely
Hero of Room 13B is an eye opener into a real-life situation of living with OCD .The
paper manifests the reasons that could cause OCD to Adam and all its symptoms
whether in the form of obsessions or compulsions. The paper raises the awareness of
the reader that having OCD is not a disgrace but rather it is like any other disease.
