HIGHER EDUCATIONAL LANDSCAPE OF RURAL & URBAN WOMEN STUDENTS DURING PANDEMIC – AN ANALYTICAL STUDY WITH REFERENCE TO TAMIL NADU

Abstract

         Higher Education means Tertiary Education, which is under taken in colleges and universities. More girls are going to school, and are growing up healthier and better equipped to realize their potential. There are a large number of problems that women students face in developing their career potential. Education is a landmark of women empowerment because it not only enables them to respond to the challenges but also to take decisions of their life. Education of women is the most powerful means of change of position in society. This research studies the opportunities and challenges in  Higher education and reasons for women students not pursuing Higher studies,  suggestive measures for increase students strength in higher education in Tamil Nadu.
