The study is conducted using a survey research design. Random sampling techniques are utilized for selecting the samples (N=113). The target respondents are higher education students from universities in Bangladesh. A closed-ended questionnaire had 5 points Likert scale used to collect data. Both descriptive and inferential statistical methods were utilized to analyze the results, and proper validation strategies were applied for outcome generalization. The research pinpoints that higher education institutes should be aware of knowledge management practices within the organization, and the management should devote more concerns about the issue. However, higher education institutes are dedicating its resources to practices such as the students' extracurricular activities or trying too much of self-advertising techniques but ignoring the issues related to knowledge management practices.
