UTERINE FIBROIDS AND ENDOMETRIOSIS AS A PROBLEM GENETIC OF SYSTEMIC DISEASE
Abstract
In modern gynecology, the problem of uterine fibroids and endometriosis continues to be an urgent problem. At the same time, medical workers involved in endometriosis and uterine fibroids face many problems in the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patients. Endometriosis appears to be one of the most common benign gynecological proliferations in women of reproductive age. A review of current views on the etiology and pathogenesis of endometriosis and uterine fibroids. The main hypotheses and theories of the occurrence of endometriosis are listed. The gene network is considered, known candidate genes are given, including genes for the detoxification system, sex hormones, their receptors, cytokine genes, tumor suppressor genes, embryonic development of the female reproductive system, cell proliferation, and others. The most probable mechanisms of pathogenesis and the ways of their further research are considered
