Abstract

Studies have shown that various factors have a significant influence on the productive qualities of Holstein cows of Austrian breeding. Higher milk productivity was shown by cows of the winter calving season, in which he was 9; 794.5 and 551.1 kg. the yield of milk fat is 16.53-17.31 kg higher than that of peers in the spring, summer and autumn calving season, respectively.

Higher milk productivity is characterized by cows with a service period of 80-100 days, in which milk yield for III and older lactation was 329 kg, 85 kg and 142 kg, respectively, the yield of milk fat at 11.5, 3.24 and 5, 4 kg, 4% milk yield per 288.4 kg, 81 and 136 kg, milk yield coefficient is 14.3 kg, 36.7 kg and 102.5 kg higher than for peers with a service period of up to 80 days, 121 days or more.

Cows with a live weight of 541-570 kg are superior to peers with a live weight of up to 510; 511-525 and 526-540 kg for a milk yield of 519; 426.9 and 252 kg, milk fat yield 19.4; 15.4 and 9.9 kg, 4% milk yield per 485; 385 and 250 kg, respectively. Cows with a bath-like shape of the udder are characterized by higher milk productivity parameters, in which milk yield for lactation was 544.9 kg, milk fat yield was 17.6 kg, milk yield of 4% milk was 439.9 kg higher than for peers with bowl-shaped udder.
