NUMERICAL STUDY OF TRANSFORMED MIGRATING CELLS IN TUMOR VASCULATURE GROWTH
Abstract
A hybrid mathematical model is developed here to investigate angiogenesis. This model integrates the transformed migrating cells in tumor vasculature growth. This paper's primary purpose is to consolidate a view on the production of extracellular matrix fibronectin in the tumor vascular growth by the migration of the endothelial cells present in it. Migration of the endothelial cells is vital for forming new blood cells, angiogenesis, and endothelialization. For the advancement of migrating cells, the proceeding of angiogenesis by haptotaxis and further involving the extracellular matrix's degradation enables it.
