Abstract

Coronavirus spreads in early 2020, which resulted in limited activities in society, including shopping.
Shopee is an E-commerce of which Shopee is a type of e-commerce widely used by Indonesians and
even in Southeast Asia. The Shopee application in the third quarter of 2019 became the most
downloaded application in Indonesia. In this study, security perceptions and risk perceptions are
considered important in increasing the Interest in online shopping using the Shopee application. This
study took 115 samples of Shopee application users in Bandung, where the results showed that
60.66% of the risk perception variable was the most significant influence in increasing the Interest in
online shopping using the application.
