Abstract

Quality of work life is positively correlated with deviant workplace behaviour. There is a strong impact of quality of work life on deviant workplace behaviour. Satisfaction with quality of work shows positive deviant workplace behaviour whereas dissatisfaction with quality of work life leads to negative deviant workplace behaviour. Communication, motivation, organisational climate, job satisfaction, oganisational support, compensation, career development and growth, flexible work arrangement, interpersonal relationship are directly proportional to the deviant workplace behaviour. Human resource practices need to be monitored and supervised to frame and check the deviance of quality of work life on a continuous basis based on the situation and restrict initiation of negative deviant workplace behaviour.
