Abstract

Persuasion is one of the most important goals that the modern rhetorical lesson of deliberation seeks to elucidate, and the Arabs are the people of rhetoric. This research employs the mechanisms of rhetorical persuasion theory in analyzing a sermon from Imam Ali's speeches, may God be pleased with him, which was distinguished by its high eloquence and eloquence, which made it a rich material for study and rhetorical analysis, regardless of its different orientations and angles of consideration. In this study, one of the most famous sermons of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) will be addressed in order to see the effect of rhetorical persuasion in his sermons.
