Abstract

The objective of this research was to synthesize a problem-based learning model of the learning environment to the enhance creativity and creative works of undergraduate students. Thirty academic research articles related to problem-based learning and the learning environment were synthesized. The results showed that there were five steps of problem-based learning: problem identification, problem analysis, research, presentation, and summary and evaluation. These factors were integrated with the learning environment via the application of six key aspects: state of the problem, source of information, cognitive tools, collaboration, assistance, and coaching; helping to promote the students’ creativity and creative works.
