Abstract

Job satisfaction is a very important motivational factor displaying employees overall contempt toward work provided by the company. According to many estimates 80% employees consider themselves working on jobs for which do not have job satisfaction. The main reason behind this can also be associated to the companies grading system on which their performance is evaluated. Present Research was carried out on IT employees of a company and there was a question answer session related to the performance and evaluation. Research found out that due to under employment the reward and the evaluation was not in direct relation to the performance of the employee. Research work also considered the effect on job satisfaction consideration the COVID-19 scenario and found some interesting results. Due to the present situation of pandemic most employees are less satisfied with present job. The result of COVID-19 on job performance comes to a situation that the employee's working hard employees are morally put down. Current research also have provides a regression analysis of the data statically for the survey of 240 employees and also analyzes the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on overall employee performance and job satisfaction.
